Julie + Kyle | Sioux Lookout Engagement Photos

On a warm October day, Rene and I loaded up the car with our camping gear and the dogs and headed East into Ontario towards Sioux Lookout. We met up with Julie + Kyle and their pup Rigatoni (Riggs for short) for a fun adventure engagement session. Their first date was paddleboarding from Kyle’s family camp, so it made sense to get out on the water somehow.

It was both Rene and I’s first time to Sioux Lookout, so we took Julie + Kyle’s advice on the best (okay..only) place for dinner before heading up a logging road to find a spot to camp for the night. The forest had recently had a burn go through it so even in October there were wildflowers everywhere. On our way back through town we also made sure to stop at the local Salvation Army, which was apparently the place to be – it was hoppin’!

I’m so grateful to these two for bringing us out on an adventure somewhere new. We had such a blast exploring along the way and hope we get to make our way back into Northern Ontario soon!
