Cass + Justin | Pitt Lake Engagement Photos

Cass and Justin knew that they wanted to get out of the city for their Pitt Lake engagement photos. Pitt Lake is one of my favorite locations to explore, especially because it’s less than an hour’s drive from most of Vancouver! There is always something going on at Pitt Lake — sometimes a group of dozens of teenagers will be heading out on an overnight canoe trip, other times there will be float planes coming and going, fishermen minding their business, families having picnics, or birdwatchers with their zoom lenses and binoculars. No matter what, when the sun dips below the horizon and the alpine glow hits those peaks, everyone is mesmerized. It only lasts a few moments, but during that time there is magic in the air.
