Ash + JB | Folktale Winery Wedding | Carmel, California

Man oh man. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph some of the biggest moments of Ash + Johnny’s lives, what a friggen honour! It all started last spring when they visited Banff on their ‘baby-moon’. They reached out to me to plan a maternity session while on vacay and you can take a peek at it HERE. A few months later their little dude, Harlan, made his appearance and they could start focusing on wedding plans! I won’t go into the many reasons why having their wedding in the Carmel valley was just so RIGHT for them, but the magic that this little corner of California holds is somethin’ special.

Ash and JB were thoughtful when it came to planning every single aspect of their wedding day. From choosing a venue in Carmel that honoured their memories from the area, to celebrating JB’s Mom throughout the ceremony and rest of the day, and to making sure that their first dance took place in a location that allowed all of their guests to share in the experience. And man, what an experience it was.

These three are surrounded by more love than I ever thought possible. Press play + start scrolling to see a little piece of their wedding weekend in California.
