Ash + JB | Big Sur Adventure Session

Ahhhhh, Big Sur. Just looking at these photos takes me back to that magical feeling driving down HWY 1 creates. After Ash + JB’s wedding in the Carmel Valley, I was so excited to take a drive down the coast for their Big Sur adventure session! They left their babe, Harlan, with his grandparents, and met up with me in Garrapata State Park. The sky was looking sinister, which meant we had the trails pretty much entirely to ourselves! Considering it was the day after their wedding, Ash + JB blew me outta the water with how much energy they had! They went back and forth with games like ‘how many sharks do you think are in this section of ocean in front of us?’ (JB said 600 and I almost had a heart attack!) and ‘if you were stranded right here, how would you survive?’.

I’m so happy we were able to meet up again, adventure sessions always have such a different vibe than the wedding day (hello, no stress!), and it’s special to explore a location that just wouldn’t have been possible between the ceremony and reception! Bonus, their dried floral arrangements looked just as bangin’ on day 2 thanks to Designs in Bloom’s magic touch!
